I believe the legal industry is ripe for change. This is why Wise Law operates under the philosophy that my clients are not merely numbers, but actual people who deserve better than the status quo.
First, my clients are provided with a client portal that facilitates active communication between my clients and their attorney. This client portal allows my clients to ask questions and receive real-time responses, review invoices, schedule meetings, and exchanging documents.
Second, Wise Law's subscription model offers an alternative method of billing. Wise Law has eliminated hourly billing and instead uses a flat weekly, biweekly, or monthly rate for legal representation. This method of billing has removed the anxiety and uncertainty of what my client's fees will be for the month, and has removed the necessity for additional lump-sums of money some traditional family law firms require.
Third, I focus my representation on my client's needs. Not every client needs to take their dispute to trial and not every client needs to settle. This is why I ask each of my clients what a successful resolution of their domestic dispute means to them - not me. I work with my clients on reaching a resolution that meets my client's definition of success.
Child Welfare & Juvenile Representation
Dependency, neglect, or abuse proceedings, termination of parental rights, status offense cases, or public offense cases in juvenile court
Both contested divorces and uncontested divorces can be stressful. However, most divorces do not go to trial and many can be settled prior to filing for divorce.
Children represent a major part of our life. Since 2018, Kentucky has a rebuttable presumption for joint custody and equal timesharing.
Raising a child can be extremely expensive. You shouldn't have to shoulder the burden alone.
More and more couples are filing for divorce without hiring an attorney. Consulting allows for the same level of guidance without the typical costs of an attorney.
